Happiness at Savannah Guthrie’s Baby Shower

Details of Savannah Guthrie's baby shower have emerged. The Today hostess recently gave birth to a beautiful baby girl Vale, who she describes as bringing immense joy and love into her life. The host's baby shower was a pleasant and emotional experience for the 42 year old first time parent.

The Today anchor announced in March that she was 4 months pregnant. Surrounded by friends and family, the anchor received a pleasant farewell as she goes on maternity leave. She was expectant with her first child with her new husband Mike Feldman.

The shower was held at New York City's The Glass Houses. The shower included yummy snacks such as donuts, soft petzels and mini hot dogs. The guests brought many presents for the first time mother who was enveloped by the two most important men in her life; her husband Mike Fieldman, whom she accidentally referred to as Matt (pregnancy brain?) and her boss, Today's executive producer, Don Nash.

A special request from the mother meant that all guests were to come with two books; one for the baby and one for a needy family, through the charitable organization Baby Buggy. The surprises didn't end there. Minted, the company that was responsible for throwing Savannah's baby shower wants to give an amazing baby shower surprise to a soon to be mother.

Guests at the shower included Hoda Kotb, Jenna Bush Hager, Tamron Hall, Gayle King, Deborah Roberts, Amy Robach, Jenna Wolfe and CNN's Kate Bolduan.

Don Nash told the new mother "You will experience joy like you have never felt before, you will experience love like you've never ever imagined. You will experience a little frustration but I guarantee you every bit of it is worth it."

Jenna Wolfe: "Collect all the great advice you get from everyone, every piece of it, every part of it, listen to every single word, stick it in a box and lock it up and then go raise this child with everything you have up here (pointing to her head) and everything you have in here (pointing to her heart)."

Mike, her husband, "I'm grateful for my wife, because I've watched her over the past several months already turn into a mother and somebody I'm so unbelievably taken with and in love with for so many reasons."
