The movie 'Ant-Man' was a giant success when it was released by Marvel starring comedy actor Paul Rudd. It is a movie mixed with science, comedy and action, which is perfect for the whole family and also one of the main reasons why it became a hit.
The official release date for 'Ant-Man and The Wasp' has not yet been finalized, but director Peyton Reed already told Yahoo in an interview that the movie is going to happen. They are still working on some final touches in dealing with their contracts, but it is all mostly done.
Peyton Reed revealed a little bit about the plot during his interview and here are some details that he wants the audience to know. Reed said, "I think one of the appealing things about coming back for a sequel is to be able to build it from the ground up this time."
He also pointed out that this new sequel might involve some weird and eccentric plot that is totally out of the comfort zone from what they did on the first one.
The Inquisitr published a brief summary of the first movie, basically it was the story of a man played by Paul Rudd who has the ability to become as small as an ant because of a special suit given to him by Hank Pym (Michael Douglas). It was all about the heroic role of Ant-Man as he fights against the villain Darren Cross (Corey Stoll) known as the Yellow Jacket.
His sidekick Hope van Dyne played the part of The Wasp in the first movie. Her character has not been given much focus because it is mainly for establishing Ant-man as a superhero; she did a good job in helping him fight the villain. This is the very reason she is now playing an even bigger part in the sequel.
