Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are among the most famous celebrity couples in Hollywood today, therefore it's only natural that rumors about them continue to circulate.
However, hearing speculations of Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani engaged is still a surprise considering the time they've been together. Nonetheless, it's a happy surprise.
According to Hollywood Life, insiders have revealed that Gwen Stefani has proposed to Blake Shelton during a night out.
"Blake asked [Gwen] what she was thinking and Gwen just blurted out, 'Let's get married'!" an insider reportedly told InTouch magazine.
"Blake didn't even blink and said, 'Let's do it'! That's how it started and now they're not looking back," the insider added.
Apparently, the Blake Shelton - Gwen Stefani engagement isn't the only surprising thing about the report. According to the magazine, they are so in love that wedding plans are already underway.
"The thought of planning an actual big wedding celebration is the last thing either of them would ever want to do, so they've agreed that just disappearing for a few weeks would be ideal. They're thinking someplace very laid-back and tropical, like Mexico," a source close to the couple allegedly claimed.
It seems fans and fellow celebs alike are happy for Gwen and Blake's relationship.
Even fellow "The Voice" coach Pharrell Williams, who's also the former "No Doubt" singer's long-time friend said that he has never seen Gwen so happy, as he told Entertainment Tonight.
It has only been a few months since Blake, 39, and Gwen, 46, publicly announced their relationship.
Gwen got divorced from husband Gavin Rossdale last month amid rumors that the "Bush" frontman cheated with the nanny.
Recently, Blake, who also divorced wife Miranda Lambert earlier this year, expressed his admiration for his partner over her single "Used To Love You."
"She deserves it. If you go through whatever she went through to write that song, at least she's getting something good, positive out of it," he told Extra.
The 39-year-old country singer also describes Gwen as a "positive influence on his life," according to the Daily Mail.
Neither Blake nor Gwen's reps have confirmed nor denied the latest marriage rumors.
For now, fans of their romance will just have to see and wait.
