'Twilight' actor Robert Pattinson and fiancé singer-songwriter Tahliah Debrett Barnett popularly known as FKA twigs are finally a step further in their relationship as Pattinson's family affirmed their full support for the couple.
It can be recalled that some recent reports had it, that the Pattinson's family does not completely approve of the actor's relationship with the 27-year-old singer. Rumours say that the actor's family prefer Rob marrying a "conservative British woman instead of an edgy girl full of piercings and tattoos", Variety reports.
However, contrary to these reports, it has been confirmed that Pattinson's family are actually very supportive of the couple's relationship and would prefer to have the British performer over Pattinson's ex-girlfriend and Twilight co-actor, Kristen Stewart, as stated in a report by Design & Trend.
Recent reports revealed that the couple's plans for their wedding have been called off multiple times but despite the delay, the actor's family is excited for the two to finally tie the knot and start a family of their own.
A source from an insider report said to OK! Magazine: "She's very good for him and that wedding couldn't come sooner as far as the Pattinson clan are concerned." The source also added that their relationship actually made him [Pattinson] a better person than he was with Stewart... it's opened up this whole creative outlet for him... Rob loves making music with her [Twigs] and learning from her," the source said.
The source added that the actor is apparently very open about telling the public that Twigs is the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with. And his family couldn't be more happier about it.
Strange enough, Twigs' restless attitude had drawn Pattinson to her, but the actor now seems to have become controlling, and Twigs starts getting cold feet and wants him to tone it down.
Meanwhile, the two have started therapy in order to build trust and to rectify their situation- simply by working through their issues as they are pushing for marriage.
