Hilarious 'Star Wars' And 'Hamilton' Mash-Ups Are Breaking The Internet With Twitter Hashtag #Force4Ham

It seems rather difficult to browse the internet without seeing anything related to 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens.' Similarly, people could not stop talking about the highly-acclaimed Broadway hit 'Hamilton: An American Musical.' The two events have dominated over social media for a long time.

And then a miracle happened.

In an interview with 'The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,' director J.J. Abrams admitted that 'The Force Awakens' will feature a tribute to the cantina scene from 'Star Wars.' As amazing as the news already is, it got better: Abrams revealed that he had collaborated with Lin-Manuel Miranda of 'Hamilton' to work on the cantina music for the scene. (He also confirmed that he is a huge fan of Miranda and that John Williams calls him 'J.J. Baby.')

The revelation didn't take long to reach social media and eventually get on Twitter, where netizens began posting a mash-up between 'Star Wars' and 'Hamilton.' The hilarious posts, which usually features an image from the 'Star Wars' movies and a lyric from the Broadway musical, can be searched through the Twitter hashtag #Force4Ham and proves the power of an excellent social media marriage.

This isn't the first time that 'Hamilton' has been mashed up with other pop culture phenomena. The Broadway musical was previously married to 'Parks and Recreation,' which worked out amazingly.

However, the new 'Star Wars/Hamilton' mash-ups are absolute perfection, from the picture of Lando Calrissian welcoming Han and Leia captioned with the line, "I arranged the meeting. I arranged the menu, the venue, the seating" to the lyric, "You know you gotta get your right hand (man) back," being paired up with an image of Luke Skywalker getting his hand chopped off.

'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' will premiere on December 18. If you haven't bought tickets to 'Hamilton: An American Musical' yet, you will need to wait until next fall.
