Alex Pettyfer Net Worth: 'Endless Love' Actor Reveals 'Magic Mike' Co-Star Channing Tatum Doesn't Like Him [PHOTOS + VIDEO]

Although it may have seemed like Channing Tatum and Alex Pettyfer got along really well in "Magic Mike," it's apparently a different story in real life.

In a recent podcast with Bret Easton Ellis, the 25-year-old British actor opened up that he didn't exactly have a great time working on "Magic Mike."

Apparently, it was attributed to the guy who didn't like him, which was his co-star and producer, Channing Tatum. Alex Pettyfer recalls:

"I was scared to speak. I actually did my work, and I sat in the corner and listened to music because I had been told that anything that I do was wrong by my reps. [...] I was very insecure as a human being. That also gave me a bad rep because they said, 'Alex thinks he's fucking better than anyone else because he doesn't speak to anyone.' That's not true. I was just genuinely nervous and scared to be myself."

So what were the problems with Channing Tatum, exactly? As it turns out, it dates way before "Magic Mike." E! News explains:

"However, the problems that arose with Tatum apparently stemmed from an outside matter that involved renting a New York apartment from Channing's friends. Pettyfer and his then-fiancée Riley Keough moved out shortly after renting the pad because Alex allegedly couldn't breathe due to what he believed was mold and dust in the apartment."

Channing Tatum then sent a "very negative email" to Alex Pettyfer, which the latter claims said: "Don't f-k my friends. You owe money. Pay the f-king money. Don't be a clown."

At the time, Alex Pettyfer was also coping with the death of his own cousin. He explains: "I really took that the wrong way, which I shouldn't have. And emailed him back saying, 'I'm in a negative headspace, can you respect me for a moment?' And I just got hounded through this time of grieving for money."

In case you're wondering, Channing Tatum and Alex Pettyfer still haven't patched things up. When they had to do re-shoots, Tatum allegedly already "told everyone he didn't like me."

However, Pettyfer doesn't seem to hold any ill feelings for the "Step Up" star, saying that he was the one "who made the poor decision."

Alex Pettyfer net worth is approximately $3.5 million.
