Psy 'Daddy' Music Video: Gangnam Style Hitmaker Releases New Song With 2NE1's CL [WATCH]

Psy broke the internet and saw worldwide success with smash hit Gangnam Style in 2012 and he is hoping to recreate that magic with his next music venture.

The 37-year-old is prepared to reach viral video fame once again, this time with the release of his latest music video, “Daddy.”

In the four-minute clip, the South Korean singer showed his range as he portrayed several different characters including a baby, child, father and grandfather.

Much like Gangnam Style, the catchy tune may carry the video but it is the quick scenes and several things going on in the same frame that keeps the viewer's attention.

Another crucial element to the K-Pop music video are the funny yet intricate dance numbers including the main chorus move which involves a hopping two step and flailing arms around.

The song, which features fellow K-pop star CL, is sort of a reverse tribute to will.i.am’s “I Got It From My Mama.” But where the will.ia.m video opens with close-up shots of gorgeous models, “Daddy” kicks off with creepy shots of Psy’s face superimposed on a baby’s body.

“Where’d you get that body from?” asks CL, also known as Chaelin Lee from the music group 2NE1, with Psy answering in an auto-tuned chorus, “I got it from my daddy.”

Psy is hoping for similar success to his 2012 hit but that is definitely one tall task as Gangnam Style has over 2.46 billion views on YouTube.

The new single is off his forthcoming album, Chiljip PSY-Da, this Is PSY's Seventh Album in English, which is his first record since becoming an international sensation more than three years ago.

Psy's new album includes songs of various genres, including dance music, hip-hop and punk.

He said he tried to include many emotions, including happiness, anger, sadness, joy, love, hatred and greed, as he had done in his past albums.
