It seems like somebody is feeling extra kind this holiday season.
Singer-songwriter Chris Brown, who's getting ready for the upcoming release of his new album "Royalty", is reportedly planning to donate $1 from every sale earned from the album beginning now until Christmas, adding that the money will be donated to the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals organization, as announced on his Instagram page, HNGN reported.
"The holidays are all about giving back. So please do your part. Give back!" the 26-year old R&B singer announced through a video.
Reports say that the new album is scheduled to be released on December 18, Friday. Besides planning to donate a dollar from every physical album sold in December 18, Brown will also be donating $1 from every pre-ordered copy of the album.
Brown's new material is named after his daughter Royalty, who he fathered to model Naz Guzman. Reports say that the singer unveiled some details of the albums the other week, including the album's artwork that features a grayscale photo of him carrying Royalty to his chest.
"Royalty" happen to be his seventh studio album that comes with an 18-song Tracklist, including his released singles "Zero" and "Liquor".
Besides Brown, there were several big-named stars engaged in charitable acts and among them was pop star Taylor Swift, who had reportedly donated all the earnings from her hit single "Welcome to New York" to the public schools in the Big Apple.
Chris Brown revealed his intentions to share proceeds from his album sales to a charity not too long after he debuted his 34-track mix tape "Before the Party" late last week, adding that the newly released playlist features a collaboration with his former girlfriend, Rihanna. Aside from Riri, the mix tape also comes with various guest appearances from Tyga, Fetty Wap and Wiz Khalifa.
Pre-orders for the album "Royalty" are now available for purchase.
