We've already seen and uncovered numerous celebrity doppelgängers. But this new lookalike has only surfaced recently, although she's been thought to look a lot like Miley Cyrus several years ago.
Meet Mardee Shackleford, a 21-year-old from Modesto, California. What makes Miley's doppelgänger more interesting is the fact that the two actually have a few things in common.
First of all, they're both vegan! They also care highly about feminism and women empowerment, in addition to campaigning for animal welfare. To top it all off, they both share "eclectic and fearless taste in style."

Apparently, all the comparisons to Miley Cyrus happened when Mardee Shackleford was around 14 years old. According to MTV:
"For Mardee, the attention started when she was about 14: right in the thick of Miley's 'Hannah Montana' fame. Everyone was watching the show, and she would get a comment every now and then about how she resembled the Disney star, but it was mostly an inside joke with her friends."
It was just two years ago when Mardee decided to go for a pixie cut, which she claims she's been wanting to do for a long time. It was after then that Mardee started getting noticed more often; she tells MTV:
"When I'm in big cities, sometimes it's crazy. [...] People come up and ask for selfies and autographs. I think a lot of people know it's just a lookalike and it's just the fun of getting a picture. I'll tell them, 'You know I'm not Miley, right?' Just to let them know."

Although not many people mistake her for Miley Cyrus in her small hometown, Mardee says she's been bombarded with fans whenever she travels.
In fact, she even shocked the "Wrecking Ball" singer's dad, Billy Ray Cyrus at one of Miley Cyrus' "Bangerz" concerts in Los Angeles in 2014 - she recalls:
"He saw me and waved me past his security and let my sister and I take a photo with him. [...] He actually was literally in tears and I don't know why. I think he was maybe just overwhelmed. He just told me, 'You look so much like Miley' and said it was a great compliment. I didn't keep my cool at all, I was definitely fangirling."
