That event is no other than Halloween! It happens in October 31st and what is traditional from Halloween? What is the one thing that cannot be missed? Pumpkins. So, launching Pumpkin Spice Oreo for the fall might be the perfect way to celebrate Halloween and have Oreo next to you all the way, because they clearly want to celebrate the season as well.
The launching of the Pumpkin Spice Oreo is going to happen in USA territories only and will be a limited edition, of course. It will be specially to promote Halloween, and we will have to see how people like them.
Danielle Brown, the Brand Manager of Mondelez International said about the cookies, "Pumpkin Spice Oreo embodies the perfect mix of the classic Golden Oreo taste with a new pumpkin spice flavor crème." And then she agrees that they might have reached their best potential yet to a note on the Daily Mail.
Apparently this wasn't done so fast either. They take from twelve to eighteen months to finally form the idea and test the results to see if the cookies are indeed edible. It must have been a trick, especially since Pumpkin seen in a cookie is very original but also a strange mixture of salty taste with sweet taste, which is not everyone's favorite.
We'll have to see how the Pumpkin Spice Oreo cookies end and the impressions they cause once they hit the shelves on Sept. 23rd.
