Nick Carter and Avril Lavigne Collaborate on a New Single

Guess who's back to present his newest music - it's Nick Carter. And this time around, he's not alone; he has Avril Lavigne to help him.

"Next single off of #AllAmerican? Call your local radio station and ask em if they'll play @AvrilLavigne and I's New song #GetOverMe". He announced in a tweet.

So apparently, he has a new single titled Get Over Me in his new album, All American. However he had a problem, he needed his fans' support to ask their local stations to play his brand new single. As of press time, he still has neither official release dates nor a music video for the song, but he believes that if his fans would unite, getting it played on a radio station is possible.

He is really interested in releasing the single, that he dared his fans that he'd donate five thousand dollars to a charity if just one American radio station would play his duet with Avril Lavigne. He was hoping that a radio station would take a chance and break the song just like how they did it in the 90s.

In a tweet, he has tagged the radio station, Kiss FM Live.

And he successfully garnered an interview with radio personality, Elvis Duran. The song will be played in the radio show. Since he got that radio interview, he happily fulfilled his promise and decided to donate the money to Saint Jude Children's Hospital.

Nick Carter is associated with the band Backstreet Boys. Avril Lavigne is popularly known for her songs Sk8er Boy, Complicated, What the Hell, and When you're gone.

If you are a child from the 90s and have enjoyed the music from this era, it is definitely refreshing to hear your childhood musicians come back to the charts and serenade you again. Welcome back, Nick Carter and Avril Lavigne!
