Music stars and former couple Chris Brown and Rihanna are back making a song together. For those who are expecting that they are back as a couple, that is not what is happening here. The two were recently reported by The Inquisitr to have been working on a song called 'Counterfeit.'
Chris Brown released an EP called 'Before the Party' and the said song was included in it when he made it available on November 27, during this year's Black Friday.
The singer also announced that he has another album coming, which won't be available until late December. He thought he'd release it that same day he dropped his EP, but he called it off and rescheduled it on December 18 instead. This new Chris Brown album shall be named, 'Royalty.'
Followers and avid fans of the two know that this is not the first time they collaborated. In fact, he even remixed Rihanna's song 'Birthday Cake' before and she also was seen working with him on the song, 'Turn Up The Music.'
There is no news as to when the two exactly recorded 'Counterfeit.' They could've worked on it before they officially broke up and just decided to release it this year. Things like this often happen to couples in the music industry. One way or another, they would make a song during their relationship and once they break up, those songs are completely in the back burner waiting for their respective labels and management's decision if they could release it or not. They still have a say on it, but their management still holds a major decision on it.
The two are both busy with their respective albums because Rihanna is also about to release her album 'Anti,' but is yet to release a date on her upcoming world tour.
