It would appear that Robert Downey Jr. might have slipped about the release of 'Iron Man 4' during his appearance on Ellen. There has been news before about the actor possibly not working on the same role again in the said movie franchise because he was asking for a raise, which is why this could spark up the interest of the fans looking forward to see another installment of this movie with him in it.
This has been pointed out by The Inquisitr saying that the actor was trying to negotiate with the studio not just in matters regarding his pay, but all the other things that he wants as well.
Downey Jr. was said to have the courage to request for a higher pay this time because of the success that the first three installments of the film had brought to the studio. Realty Today also reported that there is a huge chance that he is reprising his role again and that companies like Disney and Marvel might not be able to give him what he is asking for as his pay, which is $100 million per project.
It all makes sense since the first part of Iron Man really set up a high bar to all superhero films that went after it. The concept and the writing were brilliant enough to match the actor's skills and talent. There is no doubt that there could be another installment after it finished the third one and Downey Jr. answering yes to Ellen when she asked him if there will be an 'Iron Man 4' is no longer surprising.
