Joan Rivers Burial - It will happen on Sunday, September 7th in Manhattan after passing away yesterday. It appears to be that Joan wrote in her 2012 book "I Hate Everyone... Starting With Me" a chapter on funerals and how she wished her own burial to be. It was very strange but very much like her, at the same time.
When making wishes for a burial, people tend to think of the casket and other things that are not exactly pleasurable but need to be taken into consideration, nonetheless. When it comes to Joan Rivers, burial rules don't apply. She will always find a way to make things be funny. Even if it might not be the most appropriate to mention, she actually said once, "I've had so much plastic surgery, when I die they will donate my body to Tupperware." Who would joke like that about her own surgeries? Only Joan Rivers.
And again, when it comes to her burial, Joan Rivers indeed spoke about it in one of the chapters from her book. And what did she say? Only incredible things, that included, "I want Meryl Streep crying, in five different accents... I want to be buried in a Valentino gown... I want a wind machine so that even in the casket my hair is blowing just like Beyoncé's."
Now, this are some quality wishes for a burial! Joan Rivers always had a way with words and the day of her burial will be no exception to make people laugh and to be sure that it happens, these wishes were pronounced.
