Congratulations to Carrie Underwood, who announced yesterday, September 1st that she is expecting a child with her husband and NHL player, Mike Fisher.
Taking into consideration that yesterday was Labor Day, apparently it wasn't just a day to rest and do some shopping to some, but also to announce wonderful news.
Both Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher posted on their respective twitters that they are both very happy to say that they are pregnant! She is technically, but the meaning is understood.
They also didn't just say it with words, but also posted a photo of their two dogs. Each one of them is wearing a different t-shirt, one pink and the other blue, which are typical colors for a baby boy and a baby girl, and in one of the t-shirts said "I'm going to be a big brother," and in the other one "I'm going to be a big sister."
So, nothing else needs to be said to confirm this!
Carrie Underwood is a famous country singer who won the fourth season of American Idol after entering the show in 2004 and finishing in 2005. She was even one of Simon Cowell's favorites. He is the very well-known American Idol judge who doesn't have favorites, and as a matter of fact tends to tell the participants that they are awful most of times. So, that is another important announcement as well.
After being on the show, her career gave a spin and didn't stop since both singing and becoming more and more famous.
Already in 2005, she had her debut first single "Inside Your Heaven" as number one in Billboard and was the first country singer to ever do so. Also, her first album "Some Hearts" became the first country album to make such important records.
Later on, in 2006 she won 5 Billboard awards and in 2007 entered the Grammy Awards by winning the Best New Artist award. That same year, she was even named the Sexiest Female Musician by Victoria's Secret.
After that, she hasn't stopped throughout the years and it was in 2013 that she got to do a Global tour, something never seen for a Country Artist before, and this year she is recording her fifth studio album and planning a new tour.
She does have to make plans for a new little person now, so it's going to be seen how she manages to do it all.
