On Life and Career: Ben Affleck Reveals Being Under "Ton of Pressure" with Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice

The 43-year-old Golden Globe Award- winning actor Ben Affleck confesses how he is feeling toward his recent professional endeavours following the constant scrutiny on his personal life in his recent interview with Variety. Affleck, who plays the Dark Knight in Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice slated to be released March 2016 said when asked about how he sees his latest project, "I think there is a ton of pressure on it... If it doesn't do well, that will be extremely disappointing"

We recall during his San Diego's Comic-Con appearance to promote Batman V Superman with fellow co-stars just days ago, Affleck puts up a brave face after he and wife Jennifer Garner announced their divorce. The celebrity couple decided to split after being together for ten years and having three kids.

Allegations about the split points to the family's former nanny Christine Ouzounian who was rumored to have had an affair with the actor. Affleck's reps denied the said rumour while the actor keeps silent about it.

Along with the pressures brought by his personal life is the challenge posed upon him while Warner Bros. has been suffering a string of flops in its recent film releases such as Pan, The Man From U.N.C.L.E. and Jupiter Ascending. However, the actor showed some positivity and high hopes on the film studio giant; "You'll see next year they are going to have a great year. They are now developing ... probably the single greatest under-exploited IP asset in the entertainment business, the DC comic world... it's going to be massive."

Meanwhile, Sue Kroll, Warner's president of worldwide marketing and distribution, also showed her high hopes with the actor-director in a report by New York Times: "While he is working through a challenging time in his personal life, he remains an important part of the Warner Bros. family. We look forward to making great movies with him for years to come."

Amounting to $200 million budget released, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice will be the actor- directors launch as the well- loved caped crusader of Gotham city and co-starred by Henry Cavill as The Man of Steel. He is also included in the Suicide Squad ensemble as The Dark Knight, along with Jared Leto as the Joker. The said film is also slated to be out summer 2016.
