Every Kind Of Bacon In The World In One Place: San Diego's International Bacon Day

San Diego celebrates for the second time the international Bacon Day. It takes place on August 30th and before that, they organize a Bacon Week that started on Monday 24th of August and has the big finale tomorrow.

The reason for celebrating this occasion is that bacon is a great success in the area. In all honesty, it is a big success in the entire world. Bacon is tasty and good, and almost every food that combines it ends up being delicious.

Due to that, California decided to centralize the international day into only one zone, and its biggest one.

The participants of the event include 20 eateries that serve all sorts of food, like Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Jalapenos, Bacon Wrapped Shrimp, The Bacon Weave Tabacco and even Maple Bacon Smores. The big main character and sponsor is Black Label Bacon which has been active since the 1900's and maintains its position successfully.

Also, as a companion to all the different variations of food, there are 25 breweries that joined the event and provide only the best beer in the country.

The day will officially start at 1pm and finish at 5pm. The hours are not too many, but the quantity of things happening in that time will be plenty.

Last year, and up to this day in the week of this year, people have truly adored this day and this Fest. One of the attendants said, "Pretty much the most fun event! All the bacon detectable you can imagine, craft beer, wine, spirits and LIVE music!"

So, there is not a lot more to say than to enjoy this fest and hope for many more to come after the closing of tomorrow, which promises to be unforgettable. If any person is around the area and has time to take a look and a bite, the address is Preble Field, 2600 Cushing Road.
