Joe Jonas Shows Respect And Love For The LGBT Community

While Nick Jonas is not denying how much kindness he puts for his gay fans, it seems like the older Jonas has the same stand when it talks about the LGBT community.

During his recent interview with the PrideSource, Joe Jonas has openly talked about his thoughts in crossing paths with gay men, adding that he actually doesn't hold any issues with them and when it comes to hanging out in gay clubs.

"I don't mind, if someone is nice," Joe Jonas told PrideSource's Chris Azzopardi while promoting the disco-inspired "SWAAY" by his band DNCE. "A lot of guys come out to the shows, some gay guys as well, and I love that. They rock out, they have fun."

He went on saying, "And I feel like the music is helping people express themselves in a way. I'm seeing people with glitter on their face, with the brightest colors. I love that we can encourage people to be themselves."

As the interview went on, Joe also revealed that he has "accidentally" gone to gay bars before, mostly in Europe, adding that Nick even joined him in a gay bar once and they both admired the place, met new acquaintances and made friends with a great DJ.

"I just think we live in a world where obviously it's not a big deal. It's fine," he explained. "You can have fun wherever you go and make the best of it."

Besides that, Joe also added how much he wants to reach out to people on his "own way" and "get people to feel comfortable".

"I hope now we can encourage other straight guys to have a voice as well." Joe added. "I care too much about my friends who are gay and fans who are gay to be quiet about it."

Now that more voices from the Hollywood supports the LGBT community, including the Jonas brothers and singer-songwriter Sam Smith, there's definitely no other way for the community, but to go up, especially when it comes to speaking up for its rights in the general society.
