Blame Stored Fats For Not Losing Weight

Ever wonder why it gets even harder to lose weight once a person has developed more fats in their body? The answer is because those fats are the ones blocking your effort to lose weight. This has been revealed through a new study published by the University of Cambridge.

Newsmax sited this research confirming that people who are obese can't just burn fats that easily, since this has already been in their body for a long time. Even if they have already changed their lifestyle and turned it into a healthy one, it will still take some time and a lot of effort before they get results.

According to the journal Nature Communication, there are fat cells that could be released when people exercise and really make an effort to burn them. There are many kinds of fat present in the body, one of those is called the "brown fat" and it is the one responsible for generating heat to keep the human body warm and it also helps in burning calories.

However, there is a protein called sLR11 and it is responsible in ruining the brown fat's initial plan. This protein acts to lock in some fat cells, which eventually would prevent them from burning calories.

One of the people who is behind the research named Dr. Andrew Whittle said, "Our discovery may help explain why overweight individuals find it incredibly hard to lose weight." He continued explaining, "Their stored fat is actively fighting against their efforts to burn it off at the molecular level."

But there is still hope for those who are obese. The study didn't say people who are already fat have no hope but to just live with it. This just means that those who are suffering from obesity just needed to work harder to attain their ideal weight. There are many exercises like cycling and other weight loss tips that could make an individual shed those unwanted calories eventually.
