The saying "Nothing lasts forever" is such a cliché in Hollywood relationships. But that saying is looking to be debunked by Hollywood stars Brad Pitt and his wife Angelina Jolie-Pitt. The couple has been through a lot even when they were just starting out as a couple. They have managed to win against controversies and even health issues. They even work together to the point that Brad had Angelina as his director for their film, 'By The Sea.'
This is the first time that the actor will work with a female director and it just so happens to be his wife. The two recently graced the event for the Wall Street Journal 2015 Innovator Awards and according to The Inquisitr, Angelina gave out a very emotional speech when she accepted her award, as sited by People Magazine.
The actress said, "When I was little, my mom used to say to me, 'Let me see your soul.' When I was angry or sad or trying to express something that mattered, she would hold me and she would look me in the eyes and say that. And if I didn't know what it meant but I understood that she wanted me to drop all pretenses and just be. My children are innovators. All children are."
Going back to the movie they were recently in, the story was about a couple who was having difficulty in their married life. They could probably relate to it before, but right now it must have been hard to get into character when they are both are in a good place in their relationship.
The couple may be working as Hollywood stars, but still manage to deal with their real life tasks as parents and as a family. Us Magazine said that they keep a routine with their family and it helps a lot in working their marriage out. It is official; Brad and Angelina are indeed this generation's 'couple goals.'
