'Arrow' TV Series Update: Colton Haynes Returns To 'Arrow' as Roy, What Will He Say About Thea's Bloodlust

In an exclusive confirmation, Colton Haynes returns to Arrow in an upcoming episode. Will we see him in Arrow's Season 4, Episode 8?

Excited? Colton Haynes appears to be excited. He shared the news online about his return to the series on Twitter with his media handle @ColtonLHaynes:

"Just landed in Vancouver to...BEGIN FILMING ON #ARROW AGAIN!!! So excited!!!"

Marc Guggenheim, the show's executive producer, is thrilled to welcome him back to the current season. "It was always our intention to have him return following his departure last season." Guggenheim was just waiting for the right time and the right storyline to introduce his return. You'll get to see him on episode 412.

In last season, Roy Harper (the character Colton Haynes plays), also known as Arsenal in the much-followed hero series, left Starling City (now known as Star City) after faking his death in prison to spare The Hood, now known as Arrow (played by Stephen Amell).

When he left town, he gave Thea the chance to follow him, so they can start a new life together. Thea (played by Willa Holland) found him with a different identity. After spending some time together, Roy soon left her. But he left her with a parting gift - his Arsenal suit. Now, we see Thea as the new Arsenal but the cast calls her Speedy.

Is Roy updated with the lastest trending news from Star City? Is he aware that a new evil has come to town with supernatural magic? You can bet there will be drama when Roy finds out about Thea's bloodlust. What kind of reunion can we expect.

Details on his return this season have not yet been released but we know he's coming, EW confirms.

Watch out for possible tidbits of his return in Arrow every Wednesday at 8:00 PM ET on The CW.
