Adele's 'Hello' Gets a Parody on Saturday Night Live, but Puts Her Audience into Tears as She Performs Hello and When We Were Young

Adele showed her funny side as she graced Saturday Night Live on November 21.

Well, kinda.

She returned to the late night show for the first time since her last visit on 2008, as she promotes her new album "25." She 'joined' Magic Mic actor Matthew McConaughey in a comical Thanksgiving themed sketch.

In the said sketch, a typical family Thanksgiving dinner was seen, and every time family members would be caught in a heated argument, they will spontaneously broke out into Adele 's smashing hit Hello, because as it seems, that is the only thing they could agree on. A parody of the gray scaled, wind-heavy music video of Hello would interfere from time to time complete with an Adele impersonator, Aidy Bryant.

After the hilarious skit, Adele took the center stage and belted out a live version of the same song.  Rocking a 1920's classy look: fringed long black dress paired with a neat black heels, her signature smokey- cat eyes and soft curls, as she effortlessly belted out the high notes of her new song.

The British diva returned later, wearing the same dress, as she sang her second single from '25' When We Were Young and as expected, put her audience into a sobbing mob.

There's really no stopping Adele from being the phenomenal star that she is. Upon her re-appearance, she has been slaying the charts and breaking the internet for the video of her come back song Hello - that has been reported to outnumber Taylor Swift's star-studded Bad Blood video.

Mirror reported that singer took into Instagram her apologies for the delay in releasing her new album '25', as she has been busy being a mother to her 3-year-old son, Angelo.

"This feels like such a long time coming, my new album is finally out. I am so overwhelmed and grateful to be able to even put another record out, and put it out how I want. The last month has been a whirlwind, it's literally taken my breath away. I hope you enjoy the record as much as I enjoyed making it for you."

She ended the post with: "See you on the other side...love Adele x."
