Anonymous has exposed on Saturday a dreadful plan of assault from the extremist group to attack U.S., Indonesia, Italy, Lebanon and including Paris, International Business Times had reported. But later on Anonymous tweeted stating it didn't know the origin of the rumor of attack.
One of the attacks is said to target WWE's yearly event Survivor Series on Sunday that will be held on Philips Arena in Atlanta.
However, FBI is aware of the threat made by the ISIS, but admitted they don't have "specific or credible information of an attack."
"While we take all threats seriously, we do not have specific or credible information of an attack at this time," J. Britt Johnson, special agent at the FBI Atlanta Field Office, told in a statement. "We have, however, made the proper notifications as we continue to work closely with our law enforcement and private sector partners to keep our community safe."
Jim Butterworth, Director of the Georgia Emergency Management Agency, doesn't really assume that the arena was the real target of the alleged threat but they take the warning more seriously, he said to Fox 5 Atlanta.
Increase of security was guaranteed by WWE and Philips Areana, according to their joint statement even though specific information of the threat has not yet confirmed by authorities.
The event is programmed to begin at 7:30 in the evening. Yet the doors will be open at 6 p.m. to help fans enter the arena and prevent delays due to added security measures that will take place all over the area, fox5atlanta reported.
Also the site added that, fans are persuaded to take public transportation (MARTA) going to the event place and recommended to do not bring bags because bags will not be permitted to enter the area.
