Charlize Theron Is Back In The Full Trailer For 'The Huntsman: Winter's War' And It Looks Like An Icy Good Time [VIDEO]

The teaser for the full-length trailer of the fantasy flick 'The Huntsman: Winter's War' was just the tip of an exciting and action-filled iceberg.

On Wednesday, Universal Pictures unleashed the first official trailer for 'The Huntsman: Winter's War' and made it clear that Charlize Theron's Queen Ravenna is officially back. With the help of her icy sister Freya (Emily Blunt), the Evil Queen appears just as beautiful as she is deadly.

An excerpt of the film's synopsis reads as follows:

"Long before the evil Queen Ravenna (Theron) was thought vanquished by Snow White's blade, she watched silently as her sister, Freya (Blunt), suffered a heartbreaking betrayal and fled their kingdom. With Freya's ability to freeze any enemy, the young ice queen has spent decades in a remote wintry palace raising a legion of deadly huntsmen-including Eric (Chris Hemsworth) and warrior Sara (Jessica Chastain)-only to find that her prized two defied her one demand: Forever harden your hearts to love."

The trailer begins with the Ice Queen asking her sister's mirror, "Who is the most powerful of them all?" before the woods is delicately frozen. It is revealed that Freya is training young children to be huntsman, but discovers that two of her students have fallen in love.

There are several bewitching scenes, including the golden return of the Evil Queen and Freya raising an ice wall to divide Eric and Sara. At one point, Eric shoots at the Ice Queen but his arrow is caught in mid-air by Queen Ravenna, who says, "Hello Huntsman. I've missed you." It seems like the movie is promising to be edgier than 'Snow White and the Huntsman,' as the Evil Queen intones, "If it's a fairy tale you're looking for, prepare yourself for so much more."

'The Huntsman: Winter's War' is scheduled for release on April 22, 2016.
