Gwyneth Partlow, who is known to be U2 frontman, Chris Martin's ex-wife, will be featured on Coldplay's latest album entitled A Head Full of Dreams.
She will be joining other artists Beyoncé and Tove Lo. Beyonce will be doing sings "Hymn for the Weekend" and "Up&Up while Tove Lo will be doing "Fun".
Partlow, according to Billboard, will make an appearance in the band's fourth track on the said album. The track in which Partlow will appear has the title "Everglow." This will mark as her first credited appearance on a Coldplay song.
Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow are considered to have maintained an amicable separation, making them one of those few celebrity couples who have maintained such a friendship despite their split.
The Iron Man actress has also paired up with Huey Lewis for one of 2000 film's soundtracks - Duets - and has performed a cover of Smokey Robinson's "Cruisin'" and a cover of Fleetwood Mac's "Landslide" for Glee.
A Head Full of Dreams will be released on the 4 December, just in time for Christmas. Its lead single "Adventure of a Lifetime" came out last week and hit No. 11 on Billboard + Twitter Top Tracks.
Other artists featured in the album are Noel Gallagher, Merry Clayton, and poet Coleman Barks.
Coldplay was formed in 1998 at the University College of London. Among the pioneers were guitarists Chris Martin, a pianist from childhood and also a singer, and Jon Buckland. The group was later on joined by their drummer Will Champion and bassist Guy Berryman. According to Rolling Stones, "they played their first shows as "the Coldplay," and in 1998 self-issued an EP,Safety. The following year, the group released the Brothers and Sisters EP on U.K. indie Fierce Panda, performed their first sessions for the BBC Radio 1 presenter Steve Lamacq, played Glastonbury, and signed to Parlophone in short order."
