Joey Feek Prays For A Miracle This Christmas Season To Survive Cancer And See Daughter

A miracle is what Joey Feek hopes this in this Christmas season. Joey + Rory have turned to their Christian faith after Joey Feek has been diagnosed dying from a stage IV cervical cancer on June 2014.

The country duo has a baby girl named, Indiana. Indiana is already 21 months old. And will be celebrating her second birthday on February. The couple's prayer is for Joey to be with them for her daughter's birthday.

A video was posted on Wednesday by Rory in celebration of the 21st month of his daughter. It also features a previously pregnant Joey.

'We're going to sleep tonight remembering the morning we welcomed her into the world. We had no idea when we woke up that day what a gift God was about to give us,' Rory wrote of his daughter.

Joey's last days are approaching and her ultimate wish is to stay alive long enough to have a present on Indiana's birthday.

The 40-year-old is undergoing on radical surgery, radiation and chemotherapy but despite of having several medications she still dying.

A blog This Life I Live, is maintained by Rory to keep fans and love ones updated on Joey's condition.

Last month Joey has left the hospital and chose to be taken cared of at home so she can have quality time with her daughter but later on brought back to the hospital earlier this month because of intolerable pain. Wherein Rory put Indiana in the hospital bed together with her mom and began to wrote about their experience together.

'Yesterday I sat her down in front of her mama and they smiled and played and loved each other the way that only mamas and their little ones can.'

'Afterwards, when Indy got sleepy, Joey held her and sang In The Garden and other hymns as she softly stroked her silky-blonde hair.

'Perfect love filled that hospital room as we all held our breath and wiped our eyes,' he wrote. 'It was heartbreakingly beautiful to see and hear.'

A play area on Joey's bedside was set up to allow the singer look at Indy more often.

The couple released vows of "togetherness in sickness and in health" on June 15, 2002. And they released six albums together.
