Johnny Depp has confirmed his engagement to Amber Heard.
The Associated Press reported that while promoting his latest movie, "Transcendence," in Beijing on Monday, Depp was asked by the press about the ring he was sporting on his finger. The 50-year-old's response has lead several publications to report that Depp was confirming his top-secret engagement to Heard
"You can take that anyway you like, absolutely. The fact that I'm wearing a chick's ring on my finger is probably a dead giveaway. Not very subtle," the "Lone Ranger" star replied, while lifting his left hand to show off "a single diamond on a band around his ring finger."
A source told Us Weekly that the ring was too big for the "3 Days to Kill" actress, so he began to wear it. In January, E! News confirmed that the couple, who met on the set of the 2011 film "The Rum Diary," were preparing to tie the knot.
Earlier this month, the couple celebrated their engagement with a star-studded engagement party at the Carondelet House in downtown Los Angeles. Celebrities like Marilyn Manson, Steven Tyler and Mandy Moore were in attendance.
"I think that I would be better at making women's shoes than I would be at wedding planning. I can't plan anything," Depp said in the interview. "I'm really bad at that stuff."
This will be the first marriage for both him and Heard. In 2012, Depp split with his partner of 14 years, French model-singer Vanessa Paradis. The former couple has two children.
"Transcendence" comes out in on April 18.
