Charlie Sheen Net Worth: Ex-Wife Brooke Mueller Confirms She and Twins HIV-Free [PHOTOS + VIDEO]

It was on Tuesday on NBC's "Today" when Charlie Sheen admitted that he has been HIV positive for a number of years now.

After the news broke out and made headline, Charlie Sheen's third ex-wife Brooke Mueller made it a point to clarify that she, along with her twin sons with Charlie Sheen, are HIV-free.

Brooke Mueller's rep, Steve Honig, told E! News:

"Brooke has been inundated with calls from friends and family. [...] To put their minds at ease, Brooke can confirm that she and the boys are not HIV positive."

38-year-old Brooke Mueller and 50-year-old Charlie Sheen got married in 2008 and share 6-year-old twins Bob Sheen and Max Sheen.

According to TMZ, Charlie Sheen was diagnosed with HIV back in 2011 and immediately told Brooke after getting the news. His diagnosis was the same year that Charlie and Brooke had gotten a divorce.

On the other hand, Charlie Sheen's second ex-wife Denise Richards, as well as their two daughters - 11-year-old Sam Sheen and 10-year-old Lola Sheen - are not positive for HIV, as confirmed by an Entertainment Tonight source.

The source also added that Charlie Sheen got infected after his divorce with Denise Richards in 2006. The former "Two and A Half Men" star had told Richards about his health status before his confession on "Today."

Before Charlie Sheen even made the announcement, sources had already revealed the news. Hollywood publicist Howard Bragman said:

"What I can tell you is that Charlie is indeed HIV positive and indeed owns it and comes forward, it can be a good moment. [...] I'm sure it's a very hard personal moment. It takes a lot of courage on his part to talk about it."

Charlie Sheen net worth is $150 million.
