Elizabeth Banks stopped by "Saturday Night Live" on November 14 to host the night's episode in an effort to promote the latest and final installment of "The Hunger Games," as previously reported.
In one of the sketches, "Pitch Perfect 2" star took an Uber ride from hell, which probably resonated with a lot of people who have experienced troubles with apps of the same nature. Inverse reports:
"In 'Uber for Jen,' Banks plays the Uber devotee to Mike O'Brien's nameless Uber driver. At first it starts out like plenty of other rides (waiting on the sidewalk, phone in hand, clamoring into a random car and exclaiming 'Uber for [insert name here]!'). But then it gets a little frustrating after the driver starts missing turns and ignoring Jen's frantic directions. She even tries to barter a good rating for both parties - because, let's face it, that's one of our highest goals as Uber customers - to no avail."
As it turns out, the Uber ride quickly takes a turn (no pun intended), the mostly-silent driver brings Jen along to do his own errands, which included going to the White Castle drive through, and a trip to the bank to get a loan.
Not only that, but according to People:
"However, Banks' character Jen is soon turned onto driver Mike O'Brien's side, joining him for an ice cream stroll, disposing of a body, braking for a turtle, and even delivering his wife's baby in the back seat."
Of course, Jen - or Elizabeth Banks - had to go along with the Uber driver's errands, simply because, as Jen explains, "Neither of us wants to give the other one a bad rating."
