The Vamps Pay Tribute To Two Team Members Who Were Killed In Paris Attacks

The Vamps have paid tribute to two members of their team who were killed in the horrific Paris attacks.

The young British pop band were shocked and horrified to hear that two members of their French team had been killed at the Eagles of Death Metal concert at the Bataclan. The pair, who were part of the Universal Music Group in France, are confirmed victims of the attack.

French marketing manager Marie Mosser died alongside Thomas - thought to be colleague Thomas Ayad - with the band announcing the sad news on their Facebook page.

The band shared pictures of Marie and Thomas, saying “we want to pass on our deepest condolences to the families and friends of Thomas and Marie who were a huge part of The Vamps team in France and who tragically passed away Friday night in Paris. They will be sorely missed by us and all that knew them. Brad, James, Connor and Tristan.”

Guitarist James further expressed the band's grief for Marie and Thomas, tweeting: "Absolutely devastated to lose incredibly talented and welcoming members of our French record label last night. Incomprehensible #Paris."

Also sharing their grief at the tragic loss of two of their team was Universal Music France, who posted a tweet to their account on Saturday night.

The tweet - the last from the Universal Music France account - read: "Universal Music family is now in mourning. Thank you all for your messages. Thoughts to the victims & their families. RIP."

A state of emergency has been declared in France after terror attacks in Paris in which 129 people have died.

Eight terrorists, including one as young as 15, carried out the co-ordinated attacks. They struck the Stade de France, restaurants, and the packed Bataclan concert hall armed with AK-47s, grenades and wearing suicide vests.

French President Francois Hollande called the attacks - the worst violence to hit France since the Second World War - "an act of war" and said ISIS is responsible.
