Iconic music stars Madonna and Mariah Carey recently are dominating the Billboard as part of the chart's #GreatestofAllTime list. The Beatles are still there, but it is such an honor for the two stars to represent female artists in the music industry. It is indeed such a milestone for women to have come this far after 3 decades of making hit after hit.
But despite of this success and the known talents of these two artists, they have a lot of haters and the comments on their recent achievement have been downright mean and some really are uncalled for. The two were criticized on their age and how they handle their sexuality while releasing their art to the world.
Madonna was bashed by some many people on social media after learning about this news. For someone who has already proven a lot what she could do in the area of performing and making hit records, apparently she still is not excluded from people who would criticize her age and her work in general. The masses are ruthless and a thick skin is indeed needed in order for an artist to survive this industry.
She is the highest-ranking individual artist of all time according to a report published by The Inquisitr. The publication also included some of the hate-comments by people on Twitter like, "Madonna is white, ugly, and old. Because of her white privilege, she never had to work hard to achieve anything like Janet Jackson or Rihanna. She and her friend Katy Perry are also racists."
Mariah Carey being on the list also didn't please some people that their comments didn't just end on her being old and revealing, but calling her music cheap as well. This goes to show that no one could please everybody.
