Deer Makes Surprise Visit to Michigan Collision Repair Shop

While other hunters try their best in the woods in search for a 13-point buck, a collision repair shop in Grand Rapid, Michigan, got a visit by one of the animals.

Star Collision CARSTAR usually fixes cars after crashes involving deer.  However, General Manager Terry VandenToorn and his workers were totally surprised when one member of the deer family visited his shop after it was seen running down the sidewalk in Grand Rapids.

One of the workers, Jason Scheid, said "That is the best deer I've ever seen. Huge rack. It was beautiful."

It was reported to have made its way down the basement through the delivery door and couldn't find its way out. "He was running back and forth trying to find the door he came in," Scheid explained. "He was scared."

According to Yahoo! News, the buck kept on running around inside the shop before employees were able to corral it at the bottom of a set of stairs.

Omaha reported that the Police and Department of Natural Resources officers came to the rescue, tranquilized the deer, and took it to a less dangerous location. Of course, while waiting for the authorities, the employees took the chance and captured photos and videos of the beautiful huge creature.

Meanwhile, Scheid also joked around and told the authorities to deliver it to his home. "I gave them my address to have it dropped off at my house, but they wouldn't....Can you imagine the story of hanging that thing over your fireplace? 'Where did you get that one? In the basement of CarStar.' I've been here 12 years and it's the craziest thing I've ever seen."

VandenToorn also joke about how long it took for hunters to catch something like the 13-point buck. "They should have just come here," he said.
