Jennifer Connelly and husband Paul Bettany first film together was 'A Beautiful Mind' that was filmed over 15 years ago. The couple always remembers the first moment they felt an instant connection after seeing each other.
Bettany, noticed Connelly's undeniable gorgeousness but admitted that at first he felt a little intimidated by Jennifer.
"I've never been this close to someone that beautiful before," the 44-year-old husband said. "I remember thinking, 'I bet every man you ever met has tried to flirt with you."
Connelly said to Entertainment Tonight that she remembered to meet Bettany at first then, "I thought, 'Hmm, he's really good that guy.'"
They began to date for short period of time then later on and got married in 2003. The sweet couple has two kids, 12-year-old Stellan and 4-year-old Agnes Lark. Together with them is Kai, Connelly's 18-year-old son from previous marriage.
"He started playing guitar and it was all over," Connelly admitted after asking how Bettany won the actress' heart.
Ever since, the two worked inseparable. They have worked with four films together that includes their recent project "Shelter" that has been directed by Bettany..
Connelly said that it has been a challenge for her to work with her romantic partner but it helps them strengthen their relationship and brought them closer together.
I feel very creatively aligned with him," Connelly - who stars in the film - spoken. "We are drawn to similar types of films and filmmaking."
On Nov.13 the film will be released. Shelter is a story of a drug addict woman that struggle to live on the streets of New Your City with her companion.
Connelly still hopes to 'absolutely' act under the direction of her husband. "I felt I had a lot of freedom to explore. Because he's my husband and I trust him so much, I felt very safe," she added.
