Everybody was talking about Starbucks and their newly released Holiday cups that have no decorations indicating Christmas like little Christmas trees, snowflakes and even snowmen. Demi Lovato decided to give out a statement regarding the issue.
The Christian community is mad about this change that the coffee company did with their cups. One of the former pastors even posted on his Facebook account encouraging his followers to greet Starbucks baristas "Merry Christmas" as a form of their little protest against the company.
Lots of celebrities also gave out their opinion about the matter and some really made it a huge deal. But not singer Demi Lovato. She took to Twitter what she has to say about the whole Starbucks cup issue saying, "Why doesn't @Starbucks at least make the cups about the actual season: winter? (snowflakes, snowmen...etc.)."
Lovato didn't end it there and added, "Also, why do we care so much about a cup....?? Mugs are where it's at anyways...."
The singer known for her new album called "Confident" is most likely relating her love for mugs with her interview on a radio program last September. The host asked what was her favorite dish and she answered it with "mugs" only to make it all comical.
She was trying to be funny but some people took her too seriously calling her stupid. That's when she spoke and defended herself saying she may be homeschooled, but she is definitely not stupid and even explained that the whole point of her answer was just a joke.
Lovato is starting to become the queen of pun, especially on Instagram. For Halloween she was dressed as the "trap queen." She was wearing a cape with a crown and some traps glued on her outfit. Lovato is definitely just trying to make things light.
