Fans of the hit erotic novel Fifty Shades of Grey couldn't wait anymore for the next installment of the story as it was turned into a movie that stars Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan. After the release of the first part of the movie, those who loved it would be glad to know that they will not just see one installment, but two and it is going to be a back to back deal since the cast and crew are reported to start working on it this 2016.
According to a report published by the IB Times, the sequels Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed will start their production as a back-to-back project in 2016.
Another publication confirmed this and it is from The Wrap saying that the film company Universal Pictures already made a deal with James Foley to handle the two movies. For those who are not aware, the first movie for the Fifty Shades of Grey was handled by Sam Taylor-Johnson. He is no longer directing the new sequels due to a feud he got in with the writer of the novel E.L. James. The new director is excited to work on it and also confirmed the news by reposting the tweet that publication The Wrap posted.
There has been only a few updates about the sequels and so far, this is the latest aside from the director's update on Twitter that he is working a deal with Michael De Luca and Dana Brunetti. There is no casting update yet aside from the fact that Johnson and Dornan are reprising their roles as Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey. The publication E! even said the crew has not even finalized their casting up to this day.
