The real life couple, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt stars a role of husband and wife in their film "By the Sea". Angelina will be both directing and acting in this film.
According to her, their intimate scenes turned out to be so awkward in more ways than filming their extreme arguments as Vanessa and Roland in the movie.
Jolie told Entertainment Weekly, "It's the strangest thing in the world to be lying naked in a bathtub with an iPad that's showing you the shot outside, while your husband is at the door and you're directing him to come in and make love to you in front of a bunch of other men with cameras."
She shared that love scene are really strange but for her it is more awkward filming an intimate scene with her real partner. She quoted that the scenario are 'obviously different'.
"I couldn't get out of the bathtub to get to the monitor because the director is naked," she laughs. "We're artists and want to be free, but Brad -- it's his wife. He was on towel duty. He'd hold the towel over me."
Jolie admits that her husband Pitt, 51, was very protective of her. She confessed to The New York Times that it's not insecurity about her body has led him to do the nude scene but she only want to give confidence to her fellow women who have undergo mastectomy.
It was February 2013 when Jolie had undergone a preventative double mastectomy.
She stressed that, "The surgeries still allow you to be a woman."
"I hope other women -- anyone who is worried about those issues and how [your body] can feel or look -- can see that through [the scene]. I'm happy that will be in there if that answers something for them."
