Simon Cowell took to Twitter to ask his followers where to get some Corona light beer in London. A few minutes later he then asked for suggestions on possible themes for the X Factor live shows, according to NME.
Simon Cowell became a household name when he became a judge for singing competition shows like American Idol and X Factor. He is well known for his brutally honest remarks about the auditions and the performances. While every person auditioning and each contestant presenting was excited to hear what the other judges had to say about their piece, when it was time for Simon to give his 50 cents on the matter they all held their breath and waited anxiously for what he had to say. But even if he was ruthless in giving his feedback, everyone respected his professional opinion and even sought for what advice he had to give to each contestant.
Yesterday though the tables had turned and it was Simon's turn to ask for a suggestion. First, it was only about something as little as how to find a Corona light beer in London. But the second one got very interesting, well at least for most Twitter users. Simon asked for suggestions to what the public thought were great ideas for the theme to use for X Factor's live shows, which according to Cowell would run for two weeks.
Now Magazine shared the interesting pieces of advice some Twitter users had on this second question. Some noteworthy suggestions were: a theme on ex-contestants' songs, having contestants paired and do a duet, a childhood memory theme, and songs from famous musicians like Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson. Of course, 1D fans were quick to suggest a One Direction theme.
Simon's interest was apparently piqued with all the suggestions sent in saying "Some of the ideas you sent are very funny. And a lot of good ideas."
He gave no idea however on what particular suggestion he was going to go with. X Factor fans would just have to wait and see.
