The world's highest paid supermodel, Gisele Bundchen, recently did an interview with Charlie Rose on "CBS This Morning," which aired on Tuesday.
In the interview, Gisele Bundchen gives an in-depth look into her private life and opened up about her marital troubles with husband of six years, Tom Brady.
With Gisele's retirement from a 13-year runway career in April, and Tom Brady being at the center of the Deflategate scandal earlier this year, it's no surprise that the media speculated that their troubles took its toll on their marriage.
Gisele Bundchen tells Charlie Rose about how the couple managed to stay afloat in spite of all the troubles:
"I think we've been through a few tough times together. [...] I think that's when you know who are your friends and who loves you. My father always said the quality of your life depends on the quality of your relationships, and I think, no matter how challenging it was, we've always been supportive of one another. I think that's the most important thing you can have in life, you know? A support system and love."
Gisele Bundchen also opened up about previous troubles she and Tom Brady had faced. E! News reports:
"Bundchen admitted that it had not been the first time their relationship had faced a challenge. During the interview, she reflected on their initial whirlwind romance and discovering that Brady's former girlfriend, model and actress Bridget Moynahan was several months pregnant."
Gisele explains, "It was a challenging thing because here I am, you know, thinking I'm dating this guy. We met, we started dating, everything is great, and then this happens so I felt I didn't know what to do. [...] Do I just run away?"
Obviously, Gisele Bundchen didn't run away. Even eight years after their romance started, the former Victoria's Secret model has nothing but good things to say about Tom Brady.
"He's kind. He's a good man." She also touched on Tom Brady's 8-year-old son, John, saying: "I couldn't have asked for a sweeter bonus child."
