It's been nearly three years since Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez called it quits in their relationship, but as the two pop superstars are among the biggest teen favorites in the world, people all over the world have kept rooting for them to get back together - have they finally got their wish now?
ABC News reports that Ellen DeGeneres, the woman who has interviewed Bieber the most throughout his career, is hosting the pop star for an entire week, and the first from this endeavor has already been quite a revelation, as the "What Do You Mean" singer has not only spoken about those paparazzi pics with no clothes... but he also dished about the status of Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez's relationship.
"Maybe. I mean, we have a lot of history together, so I'm sure it could possibly happen," the singer said on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" when asked about Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez maybe getting back together, News.com.au reports. "But I think we're both just on our own journeys of figuring ourselves out. Maybe once [we do that] we can come together and make an awesome duo. Or she'll find someone awesome and I'll find someone awesome. I just want her to be happy, honestly."
According to USA Today, on the same Ellen appearance, the singer also shared which ones of his songs were inspired by the relationship between Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, namely "Sorry," "Mark My Words" and maybe "What Do You Mean," though that one was more of a suggestion from Ellen.
Gomez very recently opened up to the world about having been diagnosed with lupus a while back and needing to undergo chemotherapy, which he did completely under the radar - now, as she makes her big comeback with "Revival," she seems to be on a self-discovery journey, though she hasn't denied that there's still a strong bond between Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez.
In any case, not all hope is lost on Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez!
