Medical marijuana shops are getting very creative with their edible offerings.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Santa Cruz Labs, a medical marijuana product testing lab in California, posted a picture on their Instagram feed of a brand new creation: marijuana-infused beef jerky.
"I haven't tasted it yet, but I'd love to get a sample," Ian Rice Santa Cruz Labs co-founder and sales director, captioned the picture.
The jerky is made by a Santa Cruz-based company called Badfish Extracts, according to Marijuana.com.
The California-based labs are currently undergoing cannabinoid tests to determine "how potent the jerky is," by understanding "exactly what it's made of and determine which ailments it will best help. "
