This might be one of the things that Niall Horan is planning to do after the band's hiatus this year.
One Direction's Niall Horan is the only member who still doesn't have any ink on his body yet, but it seems like he's going to have a bit of changes after revealing his plans on getting a tattoo before taking a break from the limelight starting next year, Mirror reported.
"I'm definitely doing something about that because when we're apart, and I know I'm going to miss them. All of the lads have got this weird tattoo of a Philips screwdriver on their ankle." Horan quoted in Fabulous magazine.
He continued, "I'd like to say it means something deep, but it's just a tattoo everyone likes. I'm going to brand myself with that one and it will remind me of the lads so they'll be with me wherever I go."
Besides sharing his plan on getting a seemingly permanent remembrance before the hiatus, the 22-year old also revealed some of the things he would like to do during the band's extended break.
"I've spent the past few years of my life in planes and on tour buses and I've been through countries I've really loved, but haven't had a chance to really see. So I want to go back to Australia and definitely Thailand." Horan said.
Horan went on to say that though he usually stays in expensive hotels when he goes on tour with the band, he wants to try something new so he probably won't be staying in luxury hotels during his travel.
"With the band we stayed in luxury hotels, but I want to see these countries like any lad of my age, just staying in hostels and that sort of thing. I don't want to stay at a Four Seasons. I've done that, I want something else." Horan explained.
Besides travelling, the adventurous young artist is of course planning to spend more time with his family, saying "It'll be the simple things like going home a bit more, seeing everyone I hadn't seen in a while. I'd love to rent a cottage somewhere in Ireland, or get a caravan."
He added, "I'll probably spend most of the year writing for the next album too."
Speaking of albums, just like the rest of the band members, Niall Horan is very excited on the upcoming release of the band's latest album "Made in the A.M", which is set to due on November 13, Friday.
