Woman Gives Birth Just An Hour After Finding Out She Was Pregnant [VIDEO]

A woman hailing from Massachusetts brought herself to the hospital after complaining about "severe stomach cramps" - without knowing that she was pregnant, let alone in labor.

According to the Washington Post, the woman, named Judy Brown, initially thought that the stomach cramps were a result of a gallstone or some form of massive blockage in her body.

"[The doctors said,] 'It's good news, there's no blockage, you are pregnant and you are going to have her now!'" recalled Judy Brown, as reported by WCVB.

Judy Brown never had children before, so imagine her surprise upon finding out that her 47-year-old self was actually pregnant and in labor at that moment.

What's probably perplexing about the whole ordeal is the fact that she never knew she was pregnant until she had to give birth to her eight-pound, two-ounce baby girl named Carolyn Rose at Beverly Hospital.

Turns out, Judy Brown thought that her excessive weight gain was caused by menopause, which she believed she was going through, saying: "I felt like I was turning into my mother."

She explains: "After being married for 22 years, it really wasn't coming up being pregnant. [...] It was not really there in my mind."

Talking to ABC News (via Unilad), Brown recalled the experience:

"It was a little bit scary getting into the hospital thinking something was really bad was going on. To understand an take in that I was pregnant and was about to go into labor... it was very overwhelming."

Judy Brown, and her husband of 22 years, Jason Brown, admitted that having children wasn't on their list of to-do things.

In fact, they even had to borrow a child seat, in addition to a bassinet, before they could actually leave the hospital.
