Adele Net Worth: Drunk Tweeting Past Prohibits Her From Sending Her Own Tweets! [PHOTOS + VIDEO]

Although Adele is reigning on the top charts and breaking all kinds of records for "Hello," the first single off her "25" album, it seems as though her managers don't trust her enough to handle her own Twitter account.

According to Mashable:

"The singer's tweets have to be signed off by several people, Adele admitted on a Graham Norton BBC special, as she has a history of drunk tweeting. Perhaps that's why she's been downgraded to a flip phone, too. (To be fair, most big stars aren't the ones doing the actual tweeting from their official accounts.)."

While on the show, an audience member told Adele: "Rumour has it, you're not allowed access to your own Twitter account."

To which Adele replied, "That is true, yeah, ha ha ha." She continued:

"I'm not a drinker any more, but when Twitter first came out I was drunk tweeting and nearly put my foot in it quite a few times. So my management decided that you have to go through two people and then it has to be signed off by someone. But they're all my tweets. No one writes my tweets. They just post them for me. So yeah, that's very, very true."

In case you didn't know, Adele currently has 23.8 million followers on Twitter.

Thankfully enough, Adele's more funny tweets made it through approval - just like that throwback photo she posted in late October. The accompanying tweet reads, "Throwing it way back with this! Thank you for all the love, I am so blown away. X #TBT."

Before the "Adele at the BBC" special even aired, a clip was released featuring Adele performing "Hello" live for the first time ever. Watch it below.

Adele also performed her other hits from her previous albums, as well as new tracks from her new album, "25," on the hour-long BBC special.

Catch her interview with Graham Norton and her special live performances when "Adele at the BBC" hits the UK on November 20.

Adele net worth is $75 million.
