The First Official 'Warcraft' Trailer Offers Glimpse At The Death Of A Major Character And Hints On A Possible Sequel [VIDEO]

The first trailer for the 'Warcraft' movie has been unveiled, but did it also reveal a major character being killed off?

It has been a long wait for the release of the 'Warcraft' official trailer, which was previously shared during the San Diego Comic-Con. What else made its debut during SDCC? Weta Workshop also showed off the armors and weapons that will be worn by the humans in the film, including the silver and gold creation that King Llane Wrynn (Dominic Cooper) will wear into battle against the Orcs.

That's right, the same silver and gold armor that Anduin Lothar (Travis Fimmel) crouches over in the trailer. It appears that there is a dagger stabbed into the neck of the fallen king, and Lothar looks terrified by the sight.

So does this mean King Llane Wrynn gets killed off in the film? In a different scene, Lothar is seen standing with the king's wife Lady Taria outside the Stormwind Cathedral, in front of what suspiciously looks like a coffin. Could that be King Llane's coffin?

The death of King Llane isn't the only thing hinted upon by the 'Warcraft' trailer. There is also the possibility that there will be a sequel or two that could follow the story of a character who also has a brief introduction in the teaser.

Durotan (Toby Kebbell) is shown in the trailer holding a baby Orc, who could be his son. Durotan's son Thrall also happens to be a major character in 'World of Warcraft,' where he grows up to lead the Horde. Thrall's own WoW story is hinted upon as well, as his mother Draka (Anna Galvin) is seen sending him down a river like Moses, where he could eventually be captured by humans. Will the movie sequel feature a grown up Thrall?

The 'Warcraft' movie will premiere on June 10, 2016.
