Social networking sites like Instagram and Twitter were hyper active from people posting non-stop about a mysterious light that hit the night sky visible in California, November 7.
People in San Francisco, Los Angeles and the valley have been posting all night and exchanging opinions about what could be the real story behind that said light. A lot of people are calling it a "comet" on their post, while some are saying it's a UFO. The Inquistr also wrote that some are claiming that it could be a naval test fire.
There were people who debunked it thinking it's a UFO-sighting and saying there is a huge chance that people in NASA are just working on something big. KTLA 5 News reported this sighting making it clear that the light wasn't just a stagnant one, but rather it was moving, which convinced people to believe it was indeed a UFO hovering in the sky.
After so much speculations about the identity of the mysterious light, the official Twitter page of the Orange County Sheriff's posted a statement reporting that it wasn't a UFO or a comet, but rather a result of a naval test fire.
ABC 7 also confirmed this news by publishing a statement that the light was related to some secret operation done by the military in the area. This is why there's a huge chance that it could indeed be a naval test fire.
Despite of these confirmations, people on the Internet and even those who saw the light were not convinced of those news reports. Many believe that the government is hiding something from everyone, especially on facts regarding UFO and other intergalactic species that could have been visiting our planet. Conspiracy theorists couldn't help but rage online with their opinions about the matter.
