Game of Thrones Season 6 Cast Will Not Include Neil Nitin Mukesh

Home Box Office (HBO) has confirmed through Watchers of the Wall site, that 33-year-old Bollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh is not part of the Game of Thrones (GoT) and is not being offered any role for the Emmy-winning series. The announcement put an end to the speculations and rumors about Mukesh being a part of Game of Thrones (GoT) Season 6.

According to the most reliable fan community, "the cast for season 6 is already overflowing, so it really makes no sense for a new addition." In addition, HBO also said that "[a lot of] scenes have already been shot for the show so it was anyway unlikely that the actor would be roped in so late."

It can be recalled that rumors surfaced about Mukesh bagging a role in the American fantasy drama series. The hype hit the Internet earlier this week when Mumbai Mirror reported Mukesh was offered a Royal role by GoT's action director Greg Powell due to his role in Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, one of Bollywood's family films.

Dna said that a leading tabloid had quoted the star saying that "global stunt director Greg Powell mentioned that I would be an ideal candidate for the Game of Thrones series"

Meanwhile, fans of Mukesh did not take the confirmation positively. They resorted to social media networks and voiced out their dismay. For instance, V-Dwag (@Stinson_Desi) tweeted: "Why is HBO so "Intolerant" of Indians. I am deleting first 6 episodes of season 5 in protest." On the other hand, others took it lightly. Rashi (@Leg_Peace) also tweeted a photo with text and captioned it: "Game of thrones. Neil Nitin Mukesh. The text on the photo reads: "George RR Martin Kills Neil Nitin Mukish in GOT. This time before he could even play his role."

Winter Is Coming explained that "stunt coordinators don't offer roles to actors...they might have something to say about stuntmen."
