Carrie Underwood Husband Mike Fisher: Is New Mom And Country Singer Divorcing Hockey Star?

It's been barely 10 months since Carrie Underwood became a mom for the first time after a 5 year-marriage to hockey star Mike Fisher, but it's been a while since rumors that things are getting tougher between the pair have risen - is everything all right for the country singer and Carrie Underwood's husband?

Just ahead of stepping up as the host of the CMA Awards last Wednesday night, the "American Idol" alum spoke about those rumors regarding her marriage, finally addressing those who claim she and Carrie Underwood's husband are drifting apart - and, in fact, they couldn't be better!

The "Jesus Take the Wheel" singer is the covergirl for Cosmopolitan's December issue, where she spoke about what it was like to be a successful woman in the country music industry as well as the state of her marriage, when she shared that she and Carrie Underwood's husband were just fine and dandy, thank you very much.

"Everyone is getting divorced. They're dropping like flies! But we are good," the blonde superstar said, according to ABC News, discussing the state of her joint life with Carrie Underwood's husband Mike. "It helped that we were both established before we were married. Neither one of us could be like, 'I didn't know it would be like this!'"

Before becoming Carrie Underwood's husband in the summer of 2010, the Nashville Predators ice hockey center and the country star went out for two years keeping away from cameras, after meeting at one of her concerts.

The Huffington Post reports that a few weeks back, Fisher dished on the secret of their own marital success: giving each other space! During the making of Underwood's latest album, the hockey star left his wife be and work, doing his own thing instead of pestering her - how refreshing to see that Carrie Underwood's husband respects her own time!
