'Grey's Anatomy' Ellen Pompeo Says Daniel Craig Needs A ‘Reality Check’, Comment Explained

Ellen Pompeo tweeted out after a rage of criticisms crossed the internet after Daniel Craig's hypocritic statement. Her tweet stated that Craig needs a reality check. Pompeo, known for her role as the famous and lovable Dr. Meredith Grey in the long running television series Grey's Anatomy, discusses her tweet on a radio interview.

A while back, Daniel Craig received criticisms after he released a statement online saying he'd "rather break this glass and slash my wrists" than play James Bond again. What's so hypocritic is that Craig has previously signed on to play James Bond for five more films.

To clear things up, Pompeo explains her side of the Twitter coin on SiriusXM's Radio. In an interview with Bevy Smith, Pompeo claims to have "said many a stupid thing" but everybody needs a reality check.

She goes on to say that it's important to keep a sense of perspective. She claims she's guilty of such things too and that she also complains. But there are people out there who have bigger problems and implicitly stated that sometimes people get crazy and spoiled.

Pompeo, explained further that there is no hatred in her statement. There's no anger in it at all, she tells Smith. Most likely it has been misinterpreted as the media can twist it in different ways. On the contrary, she's a huge fan of Daniel Craig and the James Bond franchise. When she saw Craig's comments on Twitter, she felt the need to respond with her Twitter handle @EllenPompeo. Her tweet said, "This dude needs a reality check."

After all, that's what Twitter is for - to say what's on your mind but in a not so serious manner, she goes on to explain.

Daniel Craig is starring as James Bond in Spectre, the latest Bond installment under his name.
