When one hears the name Oprah, all one catches are good things and positive feedbacks, and this cannot be truer, because Oprah is one of the biggest influential women of the 21st century.
She has made history both in television and on the books, and her story hits close to home for many people.
Oprah also has a very private life, and although the media mogul has always had the spotlight on her, she always made sure to keep her other life close to the world.
Her best friend, which Oprah adores so much, Gayle King has been by her side for almost 40 years. That is the only friendship goals teenagers need today.
Gayle King also is a woman of her own; she is co-anchor of the CBS show CBS This Morning and an editor at large for O, The Oprah Magazine.
So when Gayle was hosting her show, CBS This Morning, Oprah noticed something quite off with her beautiful best friend. It seemed that Oprah did not agree the choice of Gayle's lip color.
Oprah was said to have phoned Gayle after the show aired and said that Gayle's lipstick was a tad too red for her. Oprah added that Gayle should tell her makeup artist to not make it as red as today.
"Tell your makeup artist waaaay too red on the lips today," Oprah said.
Gayle fired back with a comment that she did the lipstick herself.
Gayle then posted a screen grab from CBS This Morning and posted it on her Instagram account, with a caption, "@Oprah just called & said tell your makeup artist waaaay too red on the lips today and I said proudly "I did that MYSELF" Dead silence on the line ... Hello ??hello?..."
Although some people might think that it was out of line that Oprah commented on Gayle's lipstick, the truth is, they have been good friends for the longest time and that Oprah's comment was taken by Gayle as constructive criticism.
40 years of friendship and a lipstick is the cost for its break up is too impossible.
