The angels are brawling and the Darkness is rising in the new teaser for the next episode of 'Supernatural' Season 11.
Sam and Dean Winchester may have closed a case in Lizzie Borden's haunted B&B in 'Thin Lizzie,' but they could be in for one weird reunion with the former Scribe of God.
The synopsis for Supernatural 11x06 'Our Little World' reads as follows:
"Castiel (Misha Collins) seeks out Metatron's (guest star Curtis Armstrong) help to stop the Darkness. However, Metatron is pretty happy with his new life as a freelance videographer for the local news and isn't inclined to help the Winchesters (Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles) or Castiel. Meanwhile, Crowley (Mark Sheppard) is losing his hold on Amara."
The teaser opens with the Winchesters planning to kill the rapidly growing Amara, and as usual, Dean has a brilliant, no-fail plan. "I say we go in there, we hit her with everything we got," he tells Sam. Meanwhile, Metatron is back to taunt Castiel. "You can't even hit me!" the fallen angel says before Castiel's fist connects with his jaw. But all the action is nothing compared to Crowley's feeble attempts to control the teenaged Amara, who retaliates to being grounded by hitting him over the head with a surprising weapon.
There is still no clear way on how to defeat The Darkness, as Amara continues to grow while feeding on souls, so it doesn't sound like Dean's plan of attack may end badly. After all, the Winchesters have a long history of just rushing into a fight without a discernible plan and it usually ended up with one brother being in more trouble than expected (Sam getting killed, Dean getting killed, Sam releasing Lucifer, Dean going to hell... it's a long list). But the Winchesters have also survived long enough so they may be on to something.
'Our Little World,' the sixth episode of 'Supernatural' Season 11, will air on The CW on November 11.
